Seven days of deep powder and Japanese culture — early lifts, secret resorts and onsens under falling snow. Arrival and departure in Asahikawa.

The deepest snow on earth, lived like a local.
We base ourselves in Hokkaido, chasing storms between Niseko, Rusutsu and hidden local resorts. Mornings are for first tracks and tree runs; afternoons for ramen, onsens and editing sessions together.
This trip is built for skiers and snowboarders who are comfortable off-piste. I'll be filming and shooting throughout — every guest goes home with a personal set of photos and a group film of the expedition.
You need to be ready to wake up early, be on time, be ready for a lot of powder and bring good vibes. It will be an exhausting expedition because we’ll spend a lot of time on the skis while still exploring a lot around Japan.
We will have one or multiple bases and drive from there every day to the spots where we want to ski. On some days, we’ll leave very early so we can be the first ones at the lift and get the first powder lines.
It will be more of a medium-luxury trip. No fancy accommodation, but also no hostel vibes. Comfortable accommodation, shared rooms and a proper ski-trip style.
Itinerary
- Locations Secret so far The exact spots stay secret until the trip — we follow the snow.
- Start & End Asahikawa Arrival and departure will be in Asahikawa. This will be the starting and ending point of the trip.
- In between Villas & transport Everything in between will be based around one or multiple villas. Villas and transport cars are booked, and that’s it.

Photos & Film
At the end of the trip, there will be a full photo gallery for the whole group. Most likely, everyone will also have some personal pictures, but there will definitely be a shared group trip gallery that everyone can access and use for personal purposes.
There will also be one official aftermovie of the expedition, created and published by me, together with a selection of social media frames that you can share on your own channels. The final content will be delivered no later than two weeks after the trip.
All delivered photos, videos, and social media frames can be shared and re-edited for your own personal use. When publishing any of the content, Ben Tischhauser must always be credited and tagged as the photographer/content creator.
